The 2.6 million gallon aquarium at the Dubai Mall sprung a massive leak today. It was so bad the floors were 3 inches deep in water and the mall had to be evacuated.
The aquarium holds 33,000 fish and 400 sharks and is a focal point for the mall, which sits in the shadow of the world’s tallest building.
The aquarium also features the world’s largest acrylic viewing panel. The leak apparently started in a joint between two panels.
